I put it on the calendar with the event info... I'm not as dumb as I think...:eyes:

Just make sure the donuts are Shipley's and not those yucky KK kind.

Chilli, Fritos, chesse sure sounds goooooood.

Thank you...I Agree!!!

Reading all this makes me hungry...

Any of you guys have any experience redoing HEADLINERS???? Do we have room for another project??? My head liner has gone south fast, and is currently blocking my view, and resting on my head....
Thoughts?

oh we gona ride in the xj there! woohoo
theres write ups.. its not quick.. but you take the head liner down then sand the old glue off.. then reapply glue then put on new fabric..
it can be done while we re there.. im sure stump has all the goods to do this.. im sure hes even done it too!

Andy. buy some adhesive spray and we ll do both stumps and yours.. lol maybe 2 cans.. now that i think of it.

Actually... my headliner in the DD is also reasting on my head. Its on my 'to do' list.

Yeh, it made my To Do list when a little flap fell down in front of me.... now the whole edge along the windshield is hanging, low enough to block my view, AND it's now resting on my head... I's jumped quite a few places up my To Do list.
I'm game to do both, sounds like we'll have enough hands on deck. You sure we won't be crowding out other work? This is not quite to the urgent stage, yet. Any particular kind of adhesive? And do we need new material? or can you just slap the stock stuff back on??:dunno:

new material.. go to walmart and pick out some nice stuff..

Is rredalty...Matt Morgan...coming down? That is what he does for a living. I partially watched him do the one in the Rusty build at Ed's this fall. He used a brush attached to an air compressor to strip the old headliner down to whatever it is made of, then used the compressor to apply an adheasive to it prior to laying the fabric.

3M Super 77 spray adhesive is what I used. Worked great!

Yeah, I used the same stuff a long time ago. It held for 4 years.
Started sagging so I took the whole thing out.

Finding the right color headliner material was a BITCH! Had to order it from some fabric store. I paid for it when I ordered it. It took a month to come in and then they tried to say I hadn't payed for it. I'll need to do the MJ headliner when I get that far.

Matt Morgan is da bomb! if that man comes to the Stumpfest i 'd be honored..

So, if we're going to attempt this, in two weeks, WHERE do we get the material?? AND, are we going to attempt this? I don't want to squeeze out any already scheduled project, this is far from urgent. Do we have room to work on two headliners? Enough hands available? I'm just sayin':viking:
oh, and DrRandy, didn't realize you had skillz.....:eyes:
