The pros and cons of Forced induction and Stroking.
Strokers
Pro's: Instant throttle response, Continuous power, Reliablility (essentially a new engine).
Con's: Cost My low buck stroker will run around 2300$ when it's all said and done.
Forced induction
Use a Turbo out of a junk yard /w fuel management.
Pro's: Cheap,Reusable, Replaceable junkyard engines.
Con's: Reliability (Engine wear/non rebuilt engine), Delayed response (during spool), Plumbing, Fuel management.
I'm working on a stroker motor and my dad is interested in more HP but is leaning more towards force feeding.
What do you think the pro's and cons are and what has the most bang for your buck.
I know there's similiar threads but I want the pro's and cons not just "You should".
