More Socialist propoaganda from Obama's Spiritual Adviser.
Jim Wallis was appointed by Obama with a goal to "merge" Christianity and their Progressive (Marxist) agenda.
Socialism and Christianity cannot coexist.
Socialism is antithetical to the bible and everything Christianity is built upon; which is liberty. Socialism uses government of men to take from each according to his ability to give to those the government deems needy.
This is theft, and breaks the Commandment of God.
The only difference is that you enable the government to steal the property and wealth you want redistributed instead of stealing it yourself, but it is the same.
Socialism absolves the Christian from doing his own responsibility for charity by empowering government to do it in his stead, and in so doing – it makes government god above Christ.
Socialism abhors God, because the ultimate end of Socialism is government becoming god. Look at any government where socialism existed or currently exists; the Nazis, The Soviets, the North Koreans; the Chinese, Castro; Chavez – they make themselves god and often BAN Christianity.
Jesus did not preach that you should empower your government to provide charity and welfare to the needy. He preached that you alone should do those things.
The concept that one can be a Socialist and also a Christian is a joke. This is as stupid as someone saying they are a Satanist – but worship Jesus.
Socialism is the system of the Devil, disguised as an angel of light – it steals mans free will and liberty and leads men into the depths of avarice, dependence and enslavement to government tyranny.
Socialism seeks to enslave and make all drones of a central authority so people like you can feel good about themselves as you steal other people’s wealth and property in the name of "fairness", "shared sacrifice", "social justice" and "equality".

likewise I do not lump all Christians and Muslims into the fanatical category, but they exist just as much as the loudmouthed proponents of Atheism(I hate that term, BTW), perhaps more so. And don't give me the "they're just trying to save you" BS. If I wanted "saved" I'd do it myself thank you.

I don't. I really could care less what anyone believes. There are exceptions to every rule, but every EVANGELICAL Athiest I have met has been a pushy overbearing asshole. Just like every evangelical religious person. If I ask, awesome, by all means lets discuss. Otherwise, lets keep this a personal matter. My ex-wife went from mild christian to "I'm telling everyone I know I am an athiest and how shitty god is" and it was really annoying. Especially given that her inspiration came from a south park episode.
note that I have never mentioned my faith, what I believe is my personal business.

I'm thinking it might have been a ploy to try and trick people into thinking it was the Muslims who did the bombing, kinda like the real Boston Tea Party where the perpetrators were dressed up as Natives to try and divert attention away from them and onto another, "hated" group. As for continuing the crusades, beats the hell outta me why he he'd want to do that, unless it's like that Hutari group wanting to start race wars here in the US by killing cops and other first responders.

It’s unlikely that the extremist who admitted killing dozens in Norway last week will be declared legally insane because he appears to have been in control of his actions, the head of the panel that will review his psychiatric evaluation told The Associated Press.
The decision on Anders Behring Breivik’s mental state will determine whether he can be held criminally liable and punished with a prison sentence or sent to a psychiatric ward for treatment.
The July 22 attacks were so carefully planned and executed that it would be difficult to argue they were the work of a delusional madman, said Dr. Tarjei Rygnestad, who heads the Norwegian Board of Forensic Medicine.
In Norway, an insanity defense requires that a defendant be in a state of psychosis while committing the crime with which he or she is charged. That means the defendant has lost contact with reality to the point that he’s no longer in control of his own actions.
“It’s not very likely he was psychotic,” Rygnestad told the AP.
The forensic board must review and approve the examination by two court-appointed psychiatrists before the report goes to the judge hearing the case. The judge will then decide whether Breivik can be held criminally liable.
