Who do you insure through? Ive been having an issue with my company [Farmers] since my truck is well over blue book and i can prove it.. sorta.. i dont have all the reciepts for things 3-4 yrs old... so im curious what "riders" means.

Man that sucks the big one. I will be on look out on South East part of town. Jeep won't be hard to miss with all those parts on it. I drive from South Aurora to Morrison for work so I will be watching. Hope they find it in one piece that is a pretty sweet XJ.

ok I got a call at midnight that they had found it..."it seemed like it would be driveable"....
It was found in denver. I will go pick it up in a bit and see whats left of it.

wow! congrats on getting it found. That is my biggest fear: getting the jeep stolen! There is no way I could get my $ back out of the insurance to rebuild as they would not cover most of the stuff

Ok,
So they found it in denver at 8pm last night...
they got in by breaking the drivers rear small window. and popped the ignition.

In breaking the class they bent up the window track and moldings. and took everthing of value from the interior. Minus my bluetooth headset. and stock speakers.

They smoked in it and put them out cigs in the rear door holds....

I dont know the rest of the damage yet other than it was full of snow.

Oh and they left me a Colorado rockies Santa hat on the center console.

Now I guees I get to see how well my insurance works.....
My guess is around 4k worth of stuff gone.

its home now.....
seems to drive ok although alighnment is a bit off so probable drove over some curves with it...

I am confused by the stuff they took vs left. I still have my cobra cb..and stereo minus the face. and blue tooth headset. but my ham rigs are gone as is my big antenna and tools/recovery gear...I dont know everything else yet...

I for sure am going to need the rear drivers door small glass and trim...If the track is repairable, and ignition is toast.

Why would they not fingerprint the jeep? I dont see any evidence the cops even looked at it.

It's a stolen vehicle, not a major crime scene. Hate to say it, but there's plenty more important crime out there that takes priority so fingerprinting isn't exactly going to be a good way to spend the Lab's time.

you would think they'd want to review the walmart security tape, those parking lots are covered in cameras. If someone dropped them off in a car and they got the plate...?
