Steering Box Top Bolt Giving Me Fits

just like the title says, reinserting the top bolt for my steering box after a bumper install is giving me fits! Any tips?

Loosen the other bolts.

That's an excellent tip.
You could also try chamfering the end of the bolt.

If you are still using the factory POS steering box spacer.. That is your main issue. When I installed my aftermarket bumper I could not get ALL 3 of the steering box bolts in. At the time I went with the JCR steering box spacer. From what I can tell most of the aftermarket inner spacers are basically the same. DBO, JCR, TNT, etc.

open the holes on the bumper up with a drill bit a few thousandths more on each, just a hair.

and/or loosen all the bumper bolts to get it move around, along with loosening the box bolts.
