Steel prices in Bay Area

I would prefer the smaller, thick walled box to a larger box with thinner walls. You're planning on having this box for a long time so you should be sure that it's the box you want and you are going to be happy. I am very satisfied with the box that I have gotten.

Phil's right, I really want a small box rather than a large box. Usually, but not always, a large box is better than no box at all.
 
Sometimes when you have a large box you can turn it around then get the suport to cross over it self, sometimes this can make a large box not feel so large.
 
I use Sims in San Jose or Bormans Steel in East Palo Alto. Bormans is really clean, huge selection and I think they can shear the steel rather then torch it so it comes out nicer. Bormans is only open during the week though.
