Staying in Las Vegas on way to Moab.

Any recommends of hotel/casino on the more inexpensive site. Any suggestions, coupons, discounts, etc. you can give me would be great.

Stay downtown. It's not ritzy like the strip, but it's a bunch cheaper. You can get anywhere on the strip in a cab or on the train.

We were most likely planning on staying downtown. So afr from what I have looked into, the 20$ "resort fee" that most charge meow makes a good deal not so good. Thursday is relatively inexpensive, but friday is a killer.
Unless, someone wants to donate funds for my b-day. Haha.

We always stay in Mesquite. Cheaper and less of a drive to Moab for the second leg.

For us, Vegas is about half way. And this will be my gf's 2nd time in Vegas.
