looks chromed? it is it all stainless steel, even the dring and pin? it looks like plated cast iron.

These are made out of a piece of solid T304 Stainless Steel. These are put out by Pilot Automotive and are very very nice pieces! 40 is a great price since jobber on them is more than that!
