Here's another little tidbit:
The Dodge Dakota came with the Jeep 2.5L from '96 until '02. It was offered with a 5spd manual trans. Something called an AS82 (2wd only)
Gear ratios:
1st . . . . . 3.81-1
2nd . . . . . 2.33-1
3rd . . . . . 1.44-1
4th . . . . . 1 to1
5th(od) . . 0.79-1
Opens up another option for a 5spd maybe,...
