SSR vs Trxxs M/T

I know the Trxxs are great in snow, who knows how the ssr is?

I ran Trxxus on my Jeep 31x10.5 on 15's and I wish they made a 32x11.5 on 15's.

ive run both in a 31 flavor and i'd say the trxus x10 for mostly on road, and still working good off road. the SSR is a better offroad tire for mud and rocks(comparable to a TSL swamper) but nasty to drive on the street... and the trx is better in loose sand and wet pavement.

I run a 37'' SSR. I have been really happy with them. With beadlocks I run 5 pounds in them and the grab very well. I have not run the trxxs but a budy has them and loves the piss out of them.

I have witnessed too many friends buy the SSR and have to replace in less than a year due to excessive wear. They were great offroad but not a Daily Driving tire as no where near any good sort of mileage out of them.

I personally run Trxus 31x 10.50 for the last two sets of tire, and while not the longevity I would like to see about 1 1/2 years 18,000 miles a year is my average compared to my BFG MT's of 30,000-40,000, but way more mileage than the SSR.

The Trxus has been great offroad, super grippy aired down, they have been great on the streets on ice and snow. The only complaint I have with the trxus is that I get chunking of the treads if you abuse them off road, never ripped a sidewall though, and second is you have to have a monthly rotation schedule and get them re-balance every couple months or you get weird wear out of them. my .02 worth! eace:
