shame shame shame!!!

On all you old timer NAXJA members!

For trying to direct someone with technical jargon...

I mean c'mon...

It's not like anyone here works in the metal industry or builds/sells aftermarket/modified parts for Cherokees right...

It's not like anyone here actually wheels and tests their theories and fabrications...

All of you are just jealous that none of you ever thought of using square tubing...

Don't even let me get started on the grammar/spelling issue...

It's downright rude of you to expect proper spelling or grammar from someone who needs to convey their ideas and/or requests in a written medium...

You're all a bunch of MEANIES!!!

I dig your style dude!

Finally someone who agrees w/ me!!!

Hey Gil how about we go wheelin' some time and I'll share my beer with you. Who knows, if you get me drunk enough you might even get lucky?!!!

You're kidding, right?
I don't know what kind of "rocks" you're used to.
Hint: If your DS can move or break it, it's a "stone".

To me it's a very poor way to save a buck.
Gotta agree with that mean guy, CRASH; it's the definition of ghetto-fab.
First off, the tolerences between the inner and outer "shafts" would be loose at best. Bad Idea Jeans for a spinning part.
Second, get this thing spinning (banging) in the rocks and think of how long your u-joints are gonna last.

I'm all for cheap solutions but, like nakedness, there's good cheap and bad cheap.

Third, 88rockxj, you say you're in school, that tells me you have education at your disposal. Embrace the opportunity to learn.
Your grammar and spelling transcend bad. Reading your post was a workout.
CRASH called you on it. That'll happen when you type like that on an open forum. Get over it.
If you can't get over it, I would suggest a kinder, gentler location:

no im not in school im 22 and if reading my post was a work out in the future everytime you see one of my post skip it , youre obviously narrow minded and have never used or known somone personaly that has used a square shaft because if you did maybed youd realize square shafts have thier place in the wheeling world.

What makes you think I haven't built a trail-only competition only rig?

Enjoy your stay...

Try not to swallow your foot

Hey Gil.
I love being cannon fodder it makes me feel usefull. Oh by the way mighty Gil, who would rather alienate friends than agree with them: Your signature says, "It's not the size of a dog in a fight... it's the size of the fight in a dog"

I remember the saying more like this:

"It's not the size of THE dog in THE fight... It's the size of the fight in THE dog"

Oh look you're not perfect like you thought...sorry. By the way if you have any new products available though Barrio Fabworks email me some pics so I can buy them all. Oh and make sure you include a sticker for my rig that reads, "I buy products from a******s."

thanks again.

Rev. I can't wait, I'll reserve my room as soon as the dates are posted. I'll shoot for sometime early march. I might even share my beer with Gil if he's there. 'cause this is all just stupid internet crap. He's mad at me for trying to be nice and I'm equally mad at him for attacking me while I was trying to be nice. So, I'd love to meet everyone in the real world, and find out if we really have anything to be mad at each other for. PEACE.

becuase you dont know when/why somone can use a square shaft, and why would i care if you built a competition rig? youd be the dumbest person on the planet to run a square shaft in a competition rig, ive come to the conclusion that the majority of the people that are against square shafts would never need to use one becuase of their financial abilitys and will never be able to understand why a square shaft has its place in the wheeling world becuase of that.

I dunno...How do you think it'll stand up to LessLimited's homebrew?

Wrong... Not even remotely mad... amused maybe...

I SINCERELY suggest you work on laughing at yourself if you plan on meeting any of us.

There's absolutely NOTHING on this board worth being mad over...

Sit back...

Enjoy the Ride...

Build smart!

Financial ability has NOTHING to do with running a square shaft...

Playing the "I'm too broke to build a round shaft" is BS...

If you feel so strongly about your needs vs resources argument...

Build it then post pics of it "breaking rocks" or doing whatever wonderful magical thing it supposedly does (besides being a spare)

Feel free to build whatever out of whatever you want...

But don't come in here and get all pussyhurt because we don't agree with ya...

Sometimes being "easier to build" and "cheaper" isn't "better"...

But you already knew that right?
