Spring Wrenchfest

Anyone notive the chair Dan is sitting in?

Those are some damn sexy overall's Mark.

You like 'em?? I got 9 pair of 'em for $1/each.

Don't hate the player, hate the game! :D

Wish I'd seen this thread a couple of days ago. Could really have used to help diagnosing a noise in my front end. Hard to do it by myself.

Glad to see you guys had fun!

I've never really wore them before but they are comfortable and cheap enough so I'm hooked....

Who was it that I said I would give them for free the 1997 plastic gas tank I had for their Renix XJ with the leaking metal tank? I think it was TheChief86, but not sure on the screen name correlation here. If so, here are the details.

The tank will fit in that location with replacement straps. However, adapting the fuel system will require eliminating the return fuel line, capping the output on the regulator on the fuel line, and putting an inline regulator in the feed line to bring the PSI down to the correct fuel pressure.(I remember 31 PSI.) Then adapting the wires to work, but the fuel level sender will never work for the Renix gauges.

Yep Alex, it was TheChief86 that needed a replacement tank.

Well, I guess I'm in luck, because my jeep isn't renix. It's a 91 with the first version of the hi output fuel injection. I appreciate all the research you've done, though! I had more or less forgotten about it... I I found out that it is, in fact the return line leaking , though. It is just rusty, so I believe I can cut back to clean metal and splice in some line with compression fittings.

I only saw it really underneath and it looked like a Renix under there to me. I have not spent a lot of time under older XJ/MJ models!

A length of fuel hose and hose clamps works as well. Not like these lines are under high pressure.
