What is the best option out there for an affordable spring compressor. I hasve an RE 5.5ED lift and I need to add some hockey pucks to the current bumpstops. I know I can't wrestle the springs out with the current bumpstops inside so it for sure won't go back together with out a compressor of some kind. What are you guys using?

Thanks

I am sure i could get them in and out with the shocks unhooked and a prybar but for sure not if I add anymore bumpstop...thanks!

Maybe I'm missing something, but can't you just stack the pucks inside your coil spring, move the spring into position, and then bolt the pucks down once everything is in place?

I thought about that but wondered how easily I could get that long ass bolt in there?

justgo to auto zone and rent there compressor. It uses a simple wrench and its easy and I have never had any problems with them. Once used them on my coils and kept them compressed for a week and nothing

That's what I did. On top of that, if you flex the jeep out, the coil will stretch enough to slip a puck in between the coil loops without having to remove the coil.

When I install my pucks, I am going to run the bolt from the bottom of the coil bucket.

I have to admit, its been way to long since I have turned a wrench on my jeep. But.......if your still useing the stock coil buckets that should be pretty interesting to do especially on the passenger side.
