Hey guys, as a
member, I figured I would shoot this "proposal" to you guys for help.
I have posted once or twice about my college life of Mini-Baja. I am now Vice-President of the Villanova University Mini-Baja club, located 15 minutes outside of center city Philadelphia. Mini Baja is a Collegiate Design competition hosted by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). This will be this schools 4th year taking part in this race.
This year, we must build a whole new buggy, from the ground up. It's a lot of money, a lot of time. The average car in this race costs an average of well over $10k, plus traveling expenses to the race (being held in Montreal, Canada in 2004), so we need all the help we can get from sponsors, or even friends. The vehicle needs to travel on land, and water.
We are asking for donations($money$), parts, discounts, help with high tech process's (i.e. CNC machining, fiberglass/plastic molding, floatation material forming), or absolutely anything else, even clothing and life jackets. Please let me know what you, or anyone else could do, even if it's a stretch. We have made up a pamphlet to send to companies with any information they are seeking about the general race, and our specific club. You can contact me at [email protected], or post anything you see fit for this message board. Thanks so much. _nicko_
Feel free to post off topic of sponsorship...I like talking about mini-baja, it's too much fun. Here are a few pictures from last years competition held in Orlando, FLorida.
