spline count on 231

quick question cause I am lazy.
When did they change the spline count in the NP231 output shaft?
Also what is the spline count on the '89 231?

For the five speed manual transmissions, the BA/10 was 21 spline, and the AX15 is 23 spline. mid 89, they started phasing in AX15's.
