I got one of these from a friend without any manual. Does anyone have a manual (*.pdf) or know anything about them? I am eventually going to install an Infinity Basslink, but this will have to do for now.

Thanks and any comments and suggestions welcome!

Thanks.. but for a newbie who has never installed an amp it might be quite a chore.. Any tips or suggestions? I believe there is a power wire with an inline fuse, another blue power on wire (?) two sets of RCA's on for aux out and one for in and two wires for left and right speakers. Wouldn't the RCA's and the left/right speaker wires do the same?

Thanks again!!

Thanks..sounds easy enough. So when I run the yellow power wire to the battery I am assuming you mean the positive terminal right? Do I just wrap the bare wire around the post or do I need to add some type of connector to place it on the post? Then do I run it through the firewall?

Sorry about all the questions, but I really appreciate the advise!

Any idea what the high level input Lch and high level input Rch are? How bout the RCA Line output?

Thanks again!!

Yes you will need some type of terminal to connect to the + post. You can get them real cheap at Autozone, Tractor Supply or simply get a crimp lug from a welding supply store. Then run it through the firewall. Be sure to use a grommet. Run the + cable on the opposite side of the vehicle as the RCA's to avoid interference.

High level inputs are simply spliced into the speaker outputs from the headunit. Use this only if your headunit does not have RCA outputs. High level "L" is simply spliced into the (most often times) rear speaker and ditto for the right side. RCA cables will run directly from the sub to the headunit via a L and R channel.

Thanks again!!

Thanks!! Does it matter what kind of RCA cables I run (audio RCA)? Are there specific RCA cables for this type of installation? I also only have like 12" of yellow (power wire with the fuse) comming off the bass tube, not sure what gauge. Should I splice on a heavier gauge wire to connect to the battery? And one last one, when I splice into the remote turn on wire (the blue one) off the headunit do I just connect the wire from the bass tube to the wire comming off the headunit?

Thanks again!!

Audio quality cables, make sure the length is enough- get what ever grade cable fits your budget.

Not familiar with bass tubes (don't like them) but they should use satndard rca interconnect cables.

Whatever gauge is on there will work, no need to spend more on heavier gauge- just don't go smaller.

Yes.

HA!

Not a 'link' as in an RCA, a 'link' as in www!!
