Some advice on finding an MJ

Ha, I wouldn't put it past you. That'd be a site to see. Do a theme, "Shrek"; like the gangstas do M&M's and Pepsi on their cars.

just looked at some of your pictures.... dang that is a big gas gauge LOL at first i was like dang thats a short rmp gauge till i opened the pic and saw it was just the gas... hehe

Ha yeah. I'm going to explore putting in a full gauge cluster with RPM and such. I never did like not having an RPM gauge.

I've got a dash from an '87 XJ with the tach that might fit right in it. To be honest, I don't know if an XJ dash and an MJ dash are the same????

Oh yea, it shows 000000 miles.

You mean "Noble Steed"

I think puss would be better suited;)

So, I got the AC fixed in the MJ. It was just a couple of disco'd wires. Not sure why, but the AC blows pretty cool.

That's really exciting. Now, if I can narrow down the oil leak, I'll be peachy.

As far as vaccume, unplug the EGR solenoid wires and plug all vaccume lines aside from the FPR and MAP. Jeep should run great once all that's done. Pull the Valve cover and clean the CCV prots and get the updated CCV line kit from Jeep. Looks like a nice MJ, needs a headliner board though. I might know a guy with one laying in his storage shed.

lol. Is it not important for all the other vacuum hoses to be hooked up? What's FPR? Headliner would be pimp.

FPR, fuel pressure regulator. All the rest is unhooked on every RENIX Jeep I own and have owned and the rest isn't all that important. The ECU doesn't keep sensor data in memory, it uses starting rotation to pickup on the sensors and decides what to do from there. That's why the RENIX takes longer to start than an HO model, it has to read the sensors to recieve run data before it fires.

I've taken all the vaccum lines off mine except those two. It's great. You get rid of alot of, well, crap.

that is a nice lookin' little MJ if i do say...

i wouldn't mind one as a DD myself; then the XJ can start to play :)

Was there a finders fee? Hehehe.
