That's not what I was thinking because I want people to see how welcoming we are. Ultimately though, its up to you all.
We are a club who has opened its forum to everyone.
Make this a club function and give more reasons for folks to join a club that spends thousands on land use and brings us together as Cherokee owners

while not really an official perk red letter status tends to get you a better haggling price on most stuff that comes up for sale and a more helpful crowd when it comes time that you need an extra pair of hands for when you're moving across town.The SoCal chapter is a pretty tight group, mainly because we're a smaller geographic area than the other chapters so as far as members goes we tend to be like family around here.

I'm fat and don't have diabetes. Yet. I will someday most likely though, coming from mom's dad and my dad.
I like this idea. While I want to be welcoming, I think we should have some kind of incentive beyond the warm fuzzy for membership.
Not that I'm aware of. SoCal Fest is open, and Goatfest is only semi official, and also open.

If I can get some sort of "official proposal" I could approach a couple sops out here. Ace Alternators builds high output alternators and now stocks off road parts (HiLifts, builder parts, etc). There's also a driveshaft place that might be willing/able to donate something.
I might not be able to bring the Jeep, but I would be down to cruise out in the van or truck.

Thanks for the info on membership I found this recently. This is why I do not use internet to pay bills or any thing else. I've been hit once and that was enough. What I am going to do is get one of those accounts you pay as you go credit cards. There would not be all these companies offering protection like Lifelock and more if there wasn't a problem.
