X2 for the river or a lake. Silver wood has plenty of parking and area blocked off for swim only. I would down for getting in contact w the lake people to see what we can get acommidated for a large group if everyone else was interested.

SILVERWOOD IS GOOD BUT YOU PROBABLY NEED A PERMIT AT THE VERY LEAST A WILDERNESS PASS. ALSO THEY MAX OUT AND SHUT DOWN ALOT IN SUMMER. SO A PERMIT MAY BY PASS THAT CLOSESURE (NOT SHURE)! sorry didn't notice I was in caps. Summer weekends is really hard to get in after 9-10.

John Beach would be great practical for everyone but alcoholic beverages would be limited to the 1st guy falling in the bonfire-joke. It would be tough for enjoying a beer or two.

yeah how many people?

Dont know if I am game but.
I have unlimited parking in the back of my house, huge parking lot and very safe.
I have a pool but only 4' deep (its a lap pool that actually is cool).
I have a BBQ.
I have a ok sized covered side yard
I am in Yorba linda so cops dont mess with Jeeps that arent running ricer pipes or pep boy special items on the body.
I am sure we would be in for main course (hot dogs and hamburgers, depending on body count lol)

But:
I have a 4yo so conduct would matter.

Just as a initial, preliminary, maybe, possible, who knows, option for ya...

This would be good provided it would be ok with everyone. I could smoke or Cuban mojo asar the pork Mako offered and it would melt in your mouth!

Another option is South Carlsbad state beach. They have a big group camp site at the north end of the camp site. It's tent camping only from what I can tell but has car parking next to it. It is inside the beach camping site with other sites possibly available if cancelations occur. I stay down there 2 or three times a year in the RV section which alows tents also, or in place of RV's. Beer, wine, shooters, campfires, ocean, bar b que, surfing, kayaking, bike riding, or beach walks! Maybe Dan Vanamal can check out the particulars at the office. It's 5 frwy & Palomar Airport rd.

I'd offer my place plenty of parking 1.52 acres with 4 empty acres next to me but I do not have a pool. In August we'd be toast.

I'd also be down for azusa, we've had plenty of good times there in the past and there is plenty of room to set up our own circle away from the action to just enjoy the day. no swiming though unless you like being elbow deep in mud :gee:
