SNOWmageddon

we have had some snow, but mainly strong winds.....I could have shit a better storm then what was actually produced. It was a media fed mess.....I am going to work in the morning even if I have to drive a tractor. :farmer:

Well it didn't miss us here in KC. Got a good 16in and 3 foot drifts. Today is the first day back to work for me.

For you guys with a Level Red or Level One warning (whatever the highest warning level is for roadways). Give your local hospital a call and see if you can help pick up doctors and nurses and get them to and from the hospital. I did that about 3 years ago in the Jeep and if you get stopped you have a valid reason to be on the roads. Plus you get to take the jeep out and have fun in the snow. Not to mention you're doing a good deed for your community!

Or not, I offered that a few years back to the local hospital and the bitch behind the counter looked at me like I was a terrorist.

F them, they can figure it out for themselves.

Having grown up in Mass and now living in Kansas.....I can say that the MW DOES NOT know how to handle the snow. At least not here in Kansas or Missouri.

it's not like MO has experience, come live in a snow belt state, the roads are clear today after 2" of solid ice.

come live in a snow belt state

I was stationed at Ft Drum, NY for 4 years....thats about an hour north of Syracuse. Now THAT part of the country gets ALOT of snow and they really know how to take care of the roads. I understand that here in KS/MO they don't have the experience or the equipment to take care of it as quickly as other parts.

wasn't it MO last year that had a seasoned salt maker giving the city salt for the roads?
