I will be there with my XJ, unless it sells before then in which case I will bring a mostly stock WJ and see how far I can go. (Has tow hooks front & rear)

A friend will probably be joining in a Wrangler which I don't know much about except that it has gone thru Fordyce so it should be a pretty capable rig.

well dookie, i just realized that i have a fork lift class(oversized offroad reach type forklifts) on the 20th for work, its not a requirement, but it's a free class+ they pay you to go. and the weekend of the 27th i have a confined space class. so the 20th isnt good for me. if you guys go the 21st its a 80% chance i can go(only thing holding me back is gas money), but if not, i'll try for next time.

Hmmm... well, with a lot of people only having a rear tow point, we may have to get creative! If you don't have at least one good tow point, you really shouldn't be going. I would NOT count a sway bar! I don't want that thing going through my back window!

i have a skid plate to stop it from going that far j/K lol, well like i said, better luck for me next time. im working on buying a JCR winch bumper here hopefully in the next few months. i was suppose to buy my buddies winch bumper after he built his new front bumper but 4-5 months have passed and still waiting for it to be completed. so i think its time for me to just buy a built one.

I'm still really interested! Very curious as to what the road conditions are. Is Wentworth plowed and people just want to do little branch roads? I have yet to find a definitive answer regarding green stickered vehicles on WW road. I'm gonna call the Forest Service tomorrow to find out. Being as that I have to tow up there, I couldn't do a loop run because I need to return to my tow rig. If this sounds like a different run than you guys want to do, I may just tow up icehouse to Wentworth campground and play on the Rubicon (snow permitting).

Hey guys i just did wentworth yesterday with a group of guys from the jeepforum.. It was an amazing trip. I did it with 31's and open front and rear. Plus i only had front tow hooks. We met at georgetown general store then headed out from there. ii we aired down right before we got to the lake (cant remember the name.. its on the right) went down to 10 psi.. (did fine). Well we went up to uncle toms.. snow was great! didnt get too deep till after Toms. Our goal was to make it to Ice House but on the way up the summit we experienced problems. The road was getting really icy and if you stopped at all going up the summit you would get stuck. (the snow was icy cause it was so powdery, that when you packed it down it would turn straight to ice)

well one guy with a WJ on 31's got stuck in a ditch so we had no other option but to turn around because there was no way of pulling him up it. Overall great run, and my first legit run at that.

So were are the Sac guys going to meet? 50 and Sunrise? or are some of you going 80 to 49?

I think we should meet sooner than later, but that's just because I can't really go faster than 55 or 60 MPH! LOL!

All i have to do is find and fix my misfire, then ill be ready to go. I'm on this one with billy, although my rig does cruise at 70 just fine. Billy, where would you want to meet?
As for rigs going, heres my specs: 90 4dr, 35s mtrs, 5.5 re, front and rear tow points. and some other stuff.. just jeep (Justin) do you wanna borrow a rear axle to match the front gearing so you can go? ive got a 35 and a 44 sitting here.

so since i dont live that way are we gonna just all meet at stumpy at a certin time then? all i need is a time and place to meet everypne for sure. it is a 98% chance i will be there.

You might want to require a front tow hook for people. When we did the last snow run just about every single person used both front and back towhooks and we had way less snow.

require? im going either way, bumpers finished or not. it would'nt be the first time someone(me) got stuck with no front tow point, where there is a will there is a way!. like it was said earlier, we just gotta get creative.

Where could we meet right at your exit? As long as you're on time, we could meet at Sunrise or even El Dorado Hills Blvd and then just stop off for you

Im trying to get some guys from school to go. I think they had a trip planned to go to Mormon Emigrant. Ill verify this week though.
