Snow Run 3/6

So are we gonna meet in downtown georgetown around 10-1030 am? My wife and I are coming, and a buddy of mine is comin in his xj, and his son is bring his mj. We are gonna be in georgetown around 10- to 1030.? leme know. sounds like a good sized group.

I think we could do that. Is there a grocery store we could meet at? Kill two birds with one stone?

last gas and food stop could be the highway 49 exit. try to gas up the night before if you can that way you can save a few bucks.

There is a grocery store up there called mar val. its about 1 1/2 miles from main street on hwy 193. If you guys want we can meet at the newer gas station up there (or at least near there) and I can run you all over to the store. So lets say between 10 and 1030 at the gas station. Im not going to get my new axles in this weekend so I will still be open open, just makes for a more exciting run lol.

My kid will be open/open and I told him to expect to be stuck and digging himself out all day. Glad he won't be the only one, frontman.

im open too. just make sure you air down towards 10- 15psi and he should do fine. I was doing better than a locked bronco2 on 35mts in the snow. and im on 33ats.

yah airing down to around10 psi or less seems to be the key....
plus bronco IIs suck unless you throw in a v8 and gears and lockers, xj's can do alot with a 3.5" lift and 33's...

I am going up to G-town for breakfast at 9am if anyone wants to meet there instead. There is a breakfast place in the Marval shopping center.

Whortons market on Main st makes great sandwiches.

we had a great time guys!! even with the detour on the way we still got as far as we were going to go. i still think we could have made it all the way, maybe next time. anyway it was nice meeting those i have yet to meet and it was a pleasure to hang with the group, im looking forward to the next one!!!

i had a damn good time!
im determined to make it through!
we need to do another snow run soon, and get out there and wheel!
i ran the mopar CCC through the throttle body tonight and installed the stock air box and tested the tps....we should do the same thing again and go all the way to ice house or do the mormon emmigrant trail off sly park....

yeah like we meet at 6 this time.

one thing i would like to point out...when we go as group we gotta stick together when people get stuck. turning around and booking it does'nt seem like a club run to me. your rig might be all we need to get that person unstuck..our last run everyone stayed until everyone was unstuck, thats how it should be. i just thought i would like to point that out. on that note thanks Billy and Jeremy for tugging me a few times lol, and thanks for those that grabbed a shovel on my good stuck. Sorry you got left Chris!!! i saw you stuck and that Yota trying to unstick you while our group was down the hill. Luckily by the time we could turn around up that hill you were out.

oh and im getting a CB b4 the next trip, that would have helped a bunch yesterday with the communication gap we seemed to have haha!

sounds like i missed out on some good fun, but i went to watch team naxja at the 24 hours of lemons race at sears point instead.

yea we definitely need to stick together. ill have my cb in by next trip and im removing my rear hitch so i wont have any tow points!!!! jk. im thinking i need to get front tow points. its kind of fun with out them though. haha.

i believe just about everyone got pics. im sure most guys are still sleeping though lol.

i think that cbs would clear up any miscomunication on the trail, when one group goes a head and the rest are stuck behind they need to know what each other is thinking, otherwise we are just guessing and that isnt very accurate
