Going to slick rock this coming weekend may 17-19 for local club trail maintenance, short notice but anyone interested? There will be quite a few of ppl going, and im probolly the only xj.....but heading out of Sonora on Fri afternoon, so anyone wants to join lmk..

We're celebrating my dad's birthday that weekend and he wants to spend it up at the cabin.

The local club is pathfinders.we also have a run planned for deer valley nest month, but I saw the post about the trail being closed..so I dunno bout that one.

I'll be camping this weekend up at Boards Crossing with a large group of mixed Jeeps. We will be headed up to Slick Rock and possibly Deer Valley at some point so I'll look out for you. Deer Valley is closed at the river crossing, unless something has changed since last summer, otherwise you can go in to that point.

Is this friendly enough for an xj on 2" lift and 31's open/open. I may be interested in testing out the jeep and finally using our camping equipment....also coming from sonora

Well, I'm running open front and rear, but there will be plenty of us there to help out with spotting and what not, there is easier routes on some of the harder spots, and there are guys with an open seat too, I'll be ridin solo myself. But u should come out..I'm sure u will have fun.

2" 31s open open will be a struggle unless you have armor and skids expect body damage IMO

You can ask Sam/goodwilljeeper about his "sliders" lol. Not having them didn't work out too well for him on slickrock.

I may have to spend the weekend hacking up my front fenders. I found out Saturday that I have more travel than I originally thought. Spent the morning in Gardnerville Ranchos playing with Sierra Stompers and tucked my wheels way up in the fender wells.
