My jeep was given to me by a guy from your area. It was a grandpa truck that had hit a deer. I go up there to Cold Springs periodically.

I have family in San leandro.

That's great! We love Jamestown... That hotel has awesome food! We may have to go wheeling when we're up there, we often take my jeep.

Xj's or other's? Club?

I Have some family friends. The dad has a built white Xj and the son a built black MJ both on 35 all terrains . they have been talking about joining local 4x4 clubs up there. I think they said the most local clung is mud sweat and gears?

Yeah, there is two clubs that I know of, tried to get ahold the mud sweat and gears a few weeks ago but no answer yet. I will proboly be going to then deer valley/slick rock portion of the sierra fest seeing that its where I go every summer anyways, and having a big group to go with instead of just myself will be great.

Winnemucca, NV here 1995 XJ 5 inch lift 33s and lots and lots of other stuff but to keep this short i'll leave it all out :

Archey,

Definitely need some pics so I can flag you down when I'm in the Winnemucca area (often). Never know, there could be a parts shuttle needed sometime as well.
I'm in limbo out here in Spring Creek halfway between SLC and Reno so don't know if I'm Sierra or Inter-mountain so lurk on both.

Sonora,ca just got my first xj. Need to do some finish maintenance then time to take it out on some trails for my first time 4wheeling a jeep.

Nice! i Have some buddies out in that general area. good to see more folks from that area.

Sierra Fest is just up the road for you. Hope to see you there.

then there was the incident of helping a stranded chevy and ripping my bumper through the brackets holes, not that was fun... not

I got her fixed but it was an enlightening experience to say the least.
but for now she isn't going anywhere... I am trying to save for a lift but I don't have the money and what I can save before my deployment wont be enough.. :wow:
