Sick Dog Racing Jeepspeed Build

this has to be one of the most rigid xj's ever built. wow

Not sure about that, but its what Im looking for. Some might even say its over built.

"Some", but not anybody that knows what they're talking about. Considering how much the XJs bend, crack, etc, when raced, I don't know if it's actually possible to "overbuild". Keep up the good work! Looks great!

Critique:
Like the sheet metal tie-in here. But I think the smaller brace tube should have gone down to form node at the end of the "down" tube, not in the center.

Otherwise, looking good!

Thanks.

Your right it should but the brake vacuum booster on the driver side was in the way. Im not done up here yet. I still have to add one more brace just like the one mentioned above for the spring bucket. Then Im going to tie the Brown Dog mototr mount in to the cage as well. Thanks for the in put as well.

Nice! I don't think I've ever seen the front hoop tied into the lower door area like that.

It actually ties into the front seat mount that will be tie into the base of the B pillar.

I think you're talking about the door bar that goes down from the A-pillar to the bottom bar and intersects by the seat mount?

I was talking about the sheet metal tie-in between the front of the front door opening and the bottom of the A-pillar bar. When I said "front hoop" I probably should have said "A-pillar bar". Sorry about the confusion. Looking good though.

whats that in the back there? i see a long arm and some suspension attached to it looks cool

That is M&D Mortorsports five car.

This was before it was painted and Rolled.

not nearly as built up as yours but its fun.
he accidentaly sailed it over a dune that was a 20 foot drop off on the other side and it landed fine. I really want a baja now. Some guy saw it land and ran over to offer him 20 grand on the spot but he refused (should of taken it)

I got the package I've been waiting for. Its my 1" flanges, Dzus fasteners, gusset and other tabs been waiting for from AA Manufacturing. Now I can finish the engine cage. I've been buying all the tabs, brackets, flanges, and cage floor plates for this build from AA Manufacturing. There about the cheapset I could find. They have tons of stuff too.
