Should I push my axle farther forward?

I just bolted my long arms on for the first time and need some input. I think I need to push the axle fartherforward to where the bump stops line up better with the springs. Heres a picture that shows what I mean.

Sure. get it out there. Just pay attention to caster, pinion angle and drive shaft length. And make sure your arms are up to the task. I see you have some threads showing on the lowers already, Make sure there's enough thread left to handle the extra length. Also keep in mind the travel of the axle. Ideally you want to locate it to a point that requires the least amount of fender trimming.

Where's Max to use those fancy geometry terms used to describe the physics of a front suspension.

I was able to add about 1-1.5" in wheelbase with mine and got the springs/towers very well aligned up!

Thanks guys I'll go ahead and lengthen it half an inch and see what it looks like. I have at least another 1.75" of thread and as a rule of thumb you only need half the diameter in thread engagement. I have already done a fair bit of trimming and I'm only running 33's with 6"s of lift.
Thanks
