Shomsky's Rubicon Run

Since putting his rig on 35s, along with a slew of hardcore upgrades like an Aussie locker and a steering box brace, Shomsky wants another trip to the Rubicon. He's confident that he'll have more fun than a Jeep on a tow truck. He may even be up for a night run, but would rather not. Would anyone else like to take a trip up to Rubicon with him?

Sorry, it's not as good as "Big Red's JV Run", but maybe it'll turn into an actual run?

What weekend?

no seriously though. anybody down to go to the rubicon? after gettin 35's, a front aussie, homemade 1/4" steering box brace, and soon to be ordering front Alloys, i really really wanna go back. i had lots of fun last time, and maybe this time i'll do it when theres sunlight...
(sorry phil, dont wanna hi-jack the thread, just seein if its worth it to organize something...)
thanks

Hell yeah dude, you like totally need 35's, alloys, and front and rear lockers to run a hard core trail like the Rubicon.

Hey now, there was a time when I thought Rubicon was a hard trail. Maybe even you did too.

I'm probably busy through August. :(

My point was that you don't need all that stuff to run the Rubicon. 35's don't automatically make you a better driver or make you instantly "cool."

Too bad the tard nomination thread got closed......:wierd:

Jeez it doesnt have to be a trip to the Rubicon. It can be a trip to somewhere else. I just want to go wheeling.

Santana row :) ?

sorry i got excited after spending about $1,200 and wanted to go wheeling.
and sorry i want to make my drivetrain stronger and less vulnerable to breakage so i dont have to get a ride on a tow truck... so i dont have a "50 dollar rig" as nickangus would put it...
why so harsh? i talk about going wheeling and you guys act like im freakin crazy...

the only 50 dollar rig i know of belongs to boatwrench and rightseatsis

after months and months of my parts sitting in a box i finally go it all together 2 days ago so i know the feeling of really wanting to hit the trail
getting crap for breaking / getting stuck is a part of wheeling trust me i get alot on heckling
