Hello everyone,

Just looking for some new or used shocks for a 96 XJ with a 2" lift.

Can you guys recommend a place to pick some up?

My other half has a damn Kung Fu grip on the checkbook'

Look on Ebay for some 2007-2011 Wrangler shocks. You can find a set of four for about 75 bucks, shipped. You will have to press out some bushing sleeves & push bar pins back in OR spring for bar pin eliminators at the same time. I went with BPEs and I spent a total of $110 or so, four new shocks on the jeep.
The reason they are so cheap is that some dude bought a wrangler, drove it 550 miles, then put a lift kit on it. His old shocks are too short for his lift, so they become your new ones. Score!

You can also get Gabriel Ultra shocks for a ZJ V8 Upcountry, or RC shocks (talk to Grimus)

If you haven't found some, I have a pair of front JK shocks I could let go for cheap. You would either need BPE's or remove metal sleeve/install stock bar pin.

I just picked some up from BNW.

All was good, then the rear upper bolts broke off. good times
