Just been looking into rear shock hoop to run some longer shocks and to keep reservoir out of the elements. Do most people just fab their own? Where does it need to be tied into? Also wondering if it would be possible to basically seal around the body of the shock and the floor to keep moisture out of the cab. My bad if this doesn't belong In the jeep speed area..just figured that you all may be more knowledgeable about this.

Ordered mine from Trail Gear. I then plated the frame and welded the hoops in. I also welded a piece of pipe between them for a little more strength. I left the holes open cause my XJ is a pile of shit.

I had those identical hoops on the front of my old toyota crawler. Im thinking I may actually have something made. Im looking for more of a shock "cage" then just hoops. :dunno:

You can use a shifter boot or a CV to seal up the hole in the floor.
