Shaving an 8.25

Bob, now that you've made the switch...

Do you figure the switch just to get 7% deeper gears (4.56-4.88)was worth it?

No

Like I said 5.13's would likely be better. At some point I may do a 44 front from a Rubi for the stronger R+P and 5.13's. If I had it to do over I would have just replaced the broken 4.56's in the front D30 and ran the 4.56's with the 35's till I could go 44 F+R. I'd be over $1000 ahead!

It looks like it did a good job of protecting the cover. It will sure slide over stuff alot easier.

So how have you been? It's been a long time since I've been on the forum.

Worked great in CO 2 years ago. Ran Indy and dragged it a lot but never got hung up and didn't have to replace the rear cover after hard wheeling for the first time in a long time.
