My everyday list (some of this stuff is just easier to leave in all the time)
For the long trail:
I'm working on onboard air and welder.
One of my goals has been to put together a smaller toolset that will allow me to do the most likely jobs, like the axle shafts.
I should probably add ball joint press, ball joints, & pickle fork to the list. And WD40. Spare sensors. Probably a bunch of other crap.
Maybe I should just buy my wife an XJ and have her drive the spare

- HF ham radio (eventually)
- Sun shade
- Tarp
- Jack stands (sometimes)
