I have a 4door Jeep Cherokee (square body) for sale or trade depending on what you have I will also take a partial trades. Im looking to get about $850 obo for the truck its a good little truck but does have minor problems with it like needs a starter and thermostat other then that the truck is a good running little thing. 1996 jeep Cherokee. Runs good, starts good, trans is still good, transfer case runs great also has a slip yoke eliminator. custom drive shaft. No front drive shaft. 4.5 inch Rubicon express short arm lift, with full leaf package. ACOS up front to add an inch. and a custom ford 8.8 rear. 4.56 gears front and rear. 33x12.5 toyo tires ~20-25% tread left on 15x10 custom painted wheels. TnT frame stiffeners welded to the body and skid rails also welded to the body. oil pan and transmission skid plate, and transfer case skid plate. 4 wheel disk brakes. MORE e-brake cable.

with the purchase of the jeep you get a set of 32x11.5 procomp MT on 15x8 wheels. a highlift jack and the assorted parts that i didnt get to put on her.

the problem with her is the rear axle broke. it will need new spider gears, carrying case, cross pin and probably some assorted washers that go inside the diff. feel free to e-mail me for pictures and more info. she'll be great for parts or even to fix her back to her off-roading capabilities. ill be happy to answer any and all questions. hope you have a grand day

Yeah, I know... I am in the "looking" phase to get my first XJ in a few weeks (huge tax check), and don't have the case ATM for this, but would be cool if I did and fix/replace the 8.8. If its still around (I doubt it) it's so totally mine.

Go for it! I just started a new job. Once I get the cash flow to afford it Im going to flip cars off of craigslist. I watch craigslist quite a lot. I'll buy cars for 1k that has minor problems, fix it and sell it. Just in the past 2 weeks I've seen about 4 Cherokees for less than 1k that were in good physical shape and needed a small repair...

That guy selling that Cherokee has more than 1k in it. Unless it's just beat all to hell then it's worth it!

Yeah, just a matter of having the cash, of course, and getting a nice late model to start with... but I couldn't get all that for $1k, so would be a deal. Was another one here recent that was wrecked built for $1k and a good body with trashed motor for $1k... $2k and a few belts and hoses and I might have been wheelin a very nice XJ. Gotta be patient and have cash in your hand when they pop up.
