Seat questions

I picked up Andy's(chuckstrxj) seats. They are from a 01 XJ.
I want to replace the electric seats in my 91 with these non electric seats.
Will the seat brackets for the electric seats work for the 01's?

Not without some modification, they changed the floorpan in 96 iirc

so i ll have to go the PAP to find a 97 and up seat bracket then?

Sorry, I misunderstood your ? I was trying to tell you that seat tracks from a 96+ won't bolt to the floor. Of a 95 and down.
I know my 87 seat mountings were completely different than the 96+, but they were manual tracks with the "gangster" tilt adjust

So in short I know nothing

No, the 01 seats will not bolt directly into your Jeep.

The 01 seats WILL bolt to your 91 seat brackets.

I would suggest making a trip to the PAP. They charge 4 bucks for a "seat base".

So if i understand what you saying..
01 seat base doesnt bolt up to 91 bolt holes
but the seat will bolt up to the 91 seat base...

I have seen a lot of people running zj seats it xj's . Mine are shot to feels like I'm sitting on the floor board in mine.

Yep, my 90 has a tare in the drivers side. Local upholstery shop wants $300 to fix that one seat! I think I can find some GC seats for cheaper than that, maybe even leather then add some heaters.

i need a weekend off to work on the jeeps! I put the seats in the back where the back seats used to be to wait til that day comes.
