Yep. On Orcas Island. On top of Mt. Constitution. It's nice up there.

Sweet I rode my bike down that when I was about 14, that was a blast. Of course I was driven up the mountain about 4 times that day so I could just go down hill.

thanks! the land really reminds me of the prarie just on the east side of the rocky mountains, where i grew up. it was nice to get back under unending sky..

Is that by chance in the Pirrea Cyn area? When we drove that about ten years ago there were lots of little side canyons you could explore that looked like that.

Interesting history and plenty of canyoneering to do on the side for sure. These are all of the main route and it will hopefully remain designated. The side canyons all have those carsonite boundry signs in place.
