ARB? in a prerunner? spool that shit.. and skip the kragens. add your dust light fund into your general lighting fund, and get a decent light setup, then add HID's.

X2 on the HID's, Im swapping mine out to soltek's. Also, I have ARB's front and rear in my "prerunner". They work great, I love them. If your planning on street driving at all, the worst advice you can take is to run a spool. Thats my 2 cents, unless your rich and can buy new tires all the time.

im not running a spool in a DD, especially with the way i drive, my tires wear out quick enough as it is, the last set of BFG allterrains i had only lasted me about 25k. as for the lights, idk, ill probably do some lookin around and see what i can find for a good price. im goin H.I.D. either way.
and what do you mean by "General lighting" ?

Keep in mind im a poor college student, im tryin to get things going ass cheap ass possible... thanks dudes.

I want PICS!

so do i! haha.

i gotta get a paypal set up and become a member and ill start a build thread on "maylene" <- i name my cars.

also, send me so more pics of that bumper of yours i need more ideas for mounts and such, thanks man.

so while putting the rear speakers in today my father decided he had to help, and by help i mean he totally bent and snapped the rear speaker housing. :[ we jimmy rigged it to work but i would like to get a new one. anyone know where i could find one?

Got a question, what are the Total Chaos upper shock mounts you speak of? I was and still am under the impression they didn't make any products for Jeeps...

they arent specifially made for the cherokee and i dont know how strong it would be. but its a hellava lot cheaper than T&J's. im a poor college student so im trying to save some dough...

yea they look like the JKS ones or the ProComps I had the ProComp ones for a while had no complaints about them, but I only had Bilstien 5125s on them and didnt really go very fast

yeah they're very similar, they make some more heavy duty ones for fox 2.0.
they're made for the toyota FJ cruiser and tacomas, i spend most of my week at work working on FJ's and Tacos.

For the rear, just get a aussie locker, or since you want to spend more anyways, go with a full detroit locker. And for rear, also pick up some of the HD shackle relocation brackets.
I do not know how much lift you are going for in the front, but I would say maybe go with some 3.5-4" springs and get some ACOS. Will give you more lift, and you can fine tune it to the correct height.

i saw a pair of total chaos lower control arms for an xj at kartek... $700! they should stick to yota's.

my spool comment may have been sarcastic, but do you really need an ARB? a detroit or even an aussie would be a lot cheaper.

ill have to go check those out! i get deals from TC because of my work place. :]

i want to run the ARB because it would allow me to go on an off of being locked, i dont want a full time locker because 1.its not safe for driving in the rain. and 2. it would wear the crap out of my tires which i already burn through anyways. if anything i would probably go with a TruTracks. anything against those?

1. We don't get enough rain here for that to be much of a concern. I run summer tires here year round on my commuter (not all seasons).

2. A full time locker won't wear your tires any quicker. I spool would but most lockers disengage the inner tire when turning. SoCalBilll has detriot EZ lockers front and rear and his tires last as long as mine did and my XJ was open/open.

what gear ratio are most guys running for prerunning/go fast stuff?

well im only running 31's rite now but will be going with 33's next time i buy new shoes, what would be a good set up for those? thanks
