Sad...

I disagree, I probably always will.

Maybe it is because after 26 years of good, bad, worse, her fault and mine; She's gone. I would give almost anything to have her still walking this earth.
Maybe that's why I would consider it a luxury to have someone around if only to hate.
Maybe money has lost it's value along with the seemingly endless day ahead.

Maybe I have become cynical, drowning my compassion in my own pitty pot.

Maybe by marring the right woman and commiting to that I cannot understand.

Maybe the generalization is fed by the actions of the general population.

Maybe I'm just an a$$hole................naw, that couldn't be it.

What is really sad here is the whole concept of marrage in this country.

If you want to form a corporation, just file the paper work, and pay the fees.

Do you really need the state to tell you that you're husband and wife?

I know a bunch of people like Ardis and I. Been married for over 20 years... the state just doesn't know about it :D

Oh, so he's just being honest then. Ya gotta respect that.

Wow that makes me VERY glad I didn't have an OOPS with my Ex girlfriend...

Things are VERY not ok regarding a house we bought together that she wants to keep, I don't want to keep it, but my name is on 164K that she is paying for..

With her currentjob she doesn't have ebnough income to buy it herself even though she's currently paying for it no problem....

I can't imagine losing 700 - 1K out of every paycheck no matter what it's for.... that's rough..

Not to mention the "system" at least here in Ca. treats the non-custodial parent like a criminal. You are always asumed to be in the wrong right off the bat...it's up to us to prove otherwise. She can spend the money on drugs or whatever she wants and there is nothing I can do about it. Trust me I have tried. The system is seriously broken. But on the good side...I only have 8 months 1 week and 3 days left until I am free. Woot Woot!!!!!!!!!

The "system" sucks ass here, all you need to be is a woman and you get what you want no questions asked i'm losing 1865.00 depending on the month it's more. thats why i hate the system and cannot respect it.

Ron, my Mom and her hubby did that. The problem came when she needed some medical treatments. The hospital wouldn't let him authorize them, I had to make decisions without the knowledge, that he had. Mom never told me her medical situation. Luckily, after that they went and got officially married. I would much rather have the guy, who is with her everyday, making those types of decisions.

Child support? No sympathy from me. The wife and I decided to take our vows seriously.

See that part where you The wife and I decided? We don't all have that luxury. My kids are actually better off since we divorced. They have even learned to enjoy doing a lot less when they are with me as well over 3/4 of my check goes to the ex and her new car which she bought without trading the old one in. Me? I keep piecing my 1993 Chevy work van with over 212K miles on it back together and hoping to be able to afford another in a few years.
