what the hell? I can't seem to send PM'S right now for some reason so I'll post it here. I may be interested in the trail run, all depends, I have a wicked vibe and clunk coming from my front end not to mention a serious case of cabin fever, hopefully will work that out this week. So , who's going, what time we meeting? and what are you wheeling?, I thought your trail rig was still waiting out in the cold to be finished??

yeah.. my trail rig IS still sitting patiently... this trail is gonna be a lill too much for my DD so i may ride shotgun with someone and take 1000 pics.. it's mostly CTJeep guys but i got some locals to come out too... our meeting place is in westfield at 830AM, not far from where we met the last time.. i am scouting the trail friday evening to see what the trailhead looks like... come on out! no one else wants to go wheeling huh??
mike

I'd love to go but the XJ is still up on stands getting box tube rockers and rear wheelwells opened up. It should be ready for the Wright's farm M&G.

Few More weeks....few more weeks!!!

Ok well I survived the attacks of Locusts, RJ should know what I am talking about, anyways you can count me out for this run, I did however find the issue with my vibe and clunk, a little bit of front dshaft but mostly my left axle joint, but besides that, Ive got plans to go snowshoeing for 2 days this weekend. But I hope to see many of you on the 28th getting chicken faced at wrights farm.

HAHAHAHA!

you missed a good time... waaaaaaaaaay too much ice so we didnt cover much ground but we had a great time anyways..
it took 2 hrs to get everyone up the climb at the trailhead and another hour to get 3 trucks to the first rock ledge.... in summer thats 20 minutes to get everyone that far... as expected it became a winch-required trail..
so we headed up to Rattlesnake gutter and played on a steep climb with 12" of snow on it till we ran out of daylight.... the heros of the day were the Rubicons.... they just did better than the other guys did.... hope to see you all out there sooner or later... it cured the cabin-fever, but it also reminded us why we don't wheel as much in the winter.. TOO DAMN COLD!!

yeah that was a stock height TJ with 14" wide street radials.. he was wailing up the climb and had good momentum until he smacked the ledge.. i posted a pic of the scar on the rock.. amazingly he did not break the seal on the tire and he completed the climb and slapped the spare on at the top.. that was exactly what i was worried about doing to my new Canyons.. thats why i was riding shotgun that day.. a strange premonition....
