Does anyone have any experiance with the new rugged ridge winches? and if so how reliable are they? Because i think the price is just alittle to low to be something really reliable

My $0.02 I have had terrible luck with the two Rugged ridge items i have bought, The steering was a nightmare, and the customer service was terrible.

I normally would advise to get a Warn. (simply due to all the family i have that builds them) But if your looking for a winch in the $300 range, Check out the Smittybilt XRC-8 So far the reviews say its a good bang for the money!

You are comparing apples to oranges with the steering, I was unhappy with my steering, but my customer service for rugged ridge products through national 4wd and rjr offroad was awesome

i think in that range the xrc-8 is gettin the most applaus from its users...probably what my broke ass will end up with

thats probably what my broke ass will get too haha it seems to be the best bang for the buck as bcmaxx said
