Have an upcoming workday and im contacting clubs who have "spots" on the property looking for support before i ask public. I've pasted my emails ive been sending out to clubs. Please give me a heads up with a headcount.
Hello Clubs,
I am reaching out to your group if you have an “area” on the property. I am planning a work day
on the Rubicon Trail Foundation property for June 21st 2025. The work will be at Howers Hole at
39.01152, -120.25987. We will plan on starting work at 10am and the work will be pouring concrete into
the obstacle to insure the road into the group area is passable and safe for all people to come and enjoy
the property/ granite view loop. The RTF will be providing dinner after the work day by the sheds.
We will plan on having bags of concrete at loon lake spillway for people to help bring in if
possible. Estimating wil need to bring in 60-100 bags. I will work out those details with everyone as the
time gets closer. Please come with appropriate clothing for such work and if you have any tools you think
could help with the work don't hesitate to bring with, We will have the mixer trailer to speed mixing bags
up.
Depending how many people we have for the work day i may break off a group to move rock into
the swamp area after trash can hill here 39.01245, -120.25823 to help with longevity of that part of the
trail not being a mud pit.
Please provide a head count of people for this work day so we get enough food for the dinner by
June 1st 2025.
Thanks,
