What an awesome trip. 4 jeeps, all first timers. I rode with a buddy for last years Jamboree, but none of the others in our group had been on the trail. Snowed hard Saturday, and I had t-case issues. Ended up ripping the ears off the rear driveshaft running the trail open rear in 2wd. Welded my spare u-joint into the driveshaft and got a few more miles out of that. Found a guy with a spare on sunday. T-case won't stay in 4wd, but was able to get it in often enough to complete the trail. Broke both front shocks and started tearing the drivers side shackle box, but made it through and drove it home Monday night. Wife's wj got some new sierra pin stripping, but made it through without so much as a tug. Fortunately, she's hooked. Labor Day weekend looks like another Rubicon adventure. There really is no such thing as a bad day on the trail
