nor cal and i will b going from the tahoe side probly starting out saturday morning and finishing on sunday! anyone (with at least one locker) can go with us! post here let me know~!

So are you telling me you finally MIGHT have a working transfercase but you don't want me go because i don't have lockers? You wouldn't lend a hand IF I needed a little more traction? Even after spending all that time trying to weld your junk steering last year on the con with a bunch-o-batteries?

I can drive......or I used to be able to anyway. I have only been in the Loon side to Spider a few times not all the way through. But I really would like to. I just couldn't make Moab work and I am itchin to do some wheelin even if I have to pick up the nasties others left all year.

I can take it if you experienced Con travelers think I am biting off more than I can chew. Just tell me and I will go in the other side and see ya at the sluice.

I think work is gettin to me. I didn't mean to sound harsh, more sarcastic. Mostly concerned if not having a locker will make it impossible or just a bit more challenging. I am trying to get Friday off so we can head up early if possible.

i have the rear all back together. my rear drive shaft should be done by noon. test drive it tonight. wednesday is trouble shooting and last minutes. should be packed by thursday night. leaving friday morning for loon.

I got the time off so we are going to leave Thursday late afternoon or Friday early to the Loon side. Hopefully some organization type are up there Friday a.m. and we can get assigned a work group for Sat. Then probably head into Spider to grab a camp spot and play. See ya up there!

i would like to start out by saying thank you to all who made it up there! Stoney and NorcalXJ they did great picking up trash!! just messin!

but bryan blew a head gasket on the way up there friday night but we made it to the con still! then right after big sluice he relized his frame was cracked at his power steering pump but we still drove on... until the slabs after buck when all 3 of the power steering bolts broke at once!! but got some new ones got a welder and bling bling!! my CRAPPY RE track bar mount cracked so we got that too!!

then we called a tow truck to tow bryans junk home from pollake pines!!

but other than that the weekend was sic! I HAVE THE BEST XJ in nor cal! ha ha ha

I was wondering what happened to you guys. If anyone else was there I missed you, only saw a couple XJs.

The trail look superb when we left. I was impressed with the organization and support by vendors at the raffle. Must have been $5000 worth of swag to give away.

And the party in the Box Saturday was insane. JR pulled back to back 30 second runs through there in his Bronco buggy!!!!!

i guess i missed all you guys. we got to loon about 6:30pm friday and went straight in. ended up running with dustin (blue buggy that was doing spins on his side sat) and bruce (who had a lot of money into a '90's toy). didn't get to camp until about 11:30ish. got lost and watched a lot of rigs play under there lights. ended up camping at the top of the slab below spider right behind the raffle. just above jr bronco. had a fricken blast.
