4 months till march, lets get some ideas for ROM. what would be good dates, and places.

i think running the K trail would be pretty cool. but i can see how those that don't want to camp might not be a fan, and its also quite the drive for our southern members.

Is there a link to K trail? I always thought that was just the new Katemcey relocation :(

I'm always up for new places!

So i'm getting back into my XJ (she's been down and out for a while) and would love to get more involved in some of the local stuff going on around me, so if I can get the ol' girl back up and running and ready by march i'de be interested in going, if I think she'd survive.

So you bod is thinking a venue like bmra, bport, hidden falls etc etc will be best for ROM. Tjat way we can have a set "camp for everyone to convene back too come night fall for shenanigans. So any suggestions? I haven't been to any of these places so I can't really say much.

Hidden falls was cool, haven't been to the others, but bport is closer than Barnwell

If I'm still here if like to go regardless

I am not sure you can overnight at Bridgeport? Also heard you can do most all the trails in one day. Hidden Falls is good and why it was there last couple runs. I personally vote for Barnwell as it has the most varity and best camping. BOD you will find everyone has their own preferences and will want it to be close to them. If it's to have a good attendance some of us will have to put on our "Big Boy" pants and travel... Texas is a whole other world ;)

Hidden Falls or BMRA sounds good. Bridgeport is nice, but as xjintx said; no camping on the park itself and its not super big.

Never been to Hidden Falls, but its close to my uncles place so I have driven right by it. Haven't been to BMRA in a long time. Correction; havent been ANYWHERE in a long time.

Barnwell has drawn the largest turnout for ROM so far I believe. So I vote barnwell. If everyone wants to make the drive to Hot Springs though I'll go.

bridgeport does have overnight camping on the second saturday of every month also there are fine camping facilities at lake bridgeport, also if k-trail was considered I have run it Three times its great trip.

HF or BMRA in that order

BMRA. Haven't done HF but would make the trip if thats whats decided.
