I am looking for pics of XJ's that have rolled. I have a 95 XJ and I am wondering how they hold up in a roll I see pics of other jeeps but not too many of XJ's. Which is a good thing and I don't intend on rolling mine. Just want to know how it would take it if it did happen. Thank you

seems like they hold up pretty well if they just flop onto a flat surface but I've seen dramatic pictures of damage when the flip onto a rock or into a tree...seems like there was a thread about that a few weeks ago..

Well diff. vehicle and 70 mph, but a ZJ rolled on the highway by my house a couple weeks ago. The pass. side a-pillar looked like it was touching the bottom of the seat. It was pretty bad.

Highway rolls are bad business any way around.

Now on the trail for a simple roll (meaning not down a ravine, etc) the stock body holds up fine for personal protection. Now what I mean there is generally the body is thrashed after a full roll of one or more revolution but the people are okay.

There's not neat way to roll a vehicle ;)

roll at about 40mph....

Rt fender was smashed, oof had more damage from the hi-lift on the roof rack than from anything else. Here is a picture from afterwards with the roof rack off.

A couple of times around on the Rubicon. I drove it all the way home though (400+ miles).

I finished the trail and drove into Lake Tahoe with no windshield and no hood. We got into town and went to my friend's buddy's house. We made a windshield out of plexiglass. Screwed it into the body and duct taped it.

The windshield would bow in at about 65 mph. The drive home was pretty hilarious. People were taking pictures of me at gas stations and even driving down the highway.

The CHP even drove by a couple of times to take a look, but they never stopped me.
