doodaman, what's your specs? looks like a sweet rig.
thanks. Let me see...

It's a 1990 2door Sport.
I'm lifted about 6.5"-7" with a combo of Roughcounty 4.5" kit + a Teraflex Long Arm kit with Tera Superflex upper arms(Original XJ Prototypes).
-Teraflex Trac Bar
-Currie steering
-MORE steering brace
-Flowmaster exhaust
-MSD Ignition
-custom intake
-Tom Woods SYE and polished driveshaft
-custom fabbed rock sliders
-AR silver Diamond Back 15x8 wheels
-33x12.50 MTRs
-Posilok cable actuator
-custom roof rack
-extremely bastardised rear spring pack
-cut fenders with modified stock flares
-Lebaron hood vents.

I think that's it. It used to have a sweet stereo before the Jeep got stolen 2 years ago. The insurance had to go towards more lift instead of new stereo stuff. What are you going to do? It's a Jeep thing.:peace: :dunno:

Oh ya, with stock d30/d35 open diffs with 3.55 gears.
:looney: :wow:

Its Coy Hill, and I was actually there yesterday.

This was from my last trip there, but I don't have any pictures because I had to leave my Jeep 200 yards into the trail, stupid ARB Gashed my brand new Toyos.

We are talking bumper right? or are we talking some cool story involving an exploding air locker?

Haha, no it was a bumper. No cool exploding air locker that managed to shoot through the axle housing and into the tire.

Couple pics from Evans Creek, Washington. Nothing too wild, but fun nonetheless.

Checking out the approach angle on my new Moab 4x4 Outpost bumper:

I actually had to use a surprising amount of wheelspin to make it up the hardest line. Note the temepered glass in the bottom right of this pic...someone wasn't so lucky.

Not good enough to avoid this, though:

Been there done that... but if those are the same location it looks like it was easily avoidable? Any carnage pics...

The picture is a little deceving(sp?).

Yes, there is another line, but it is not as challenging, IMO.

Ive smashed my rig at the same spot a few weeks back, but if you've seen my rig, another dent is nothing for me to worry about.

The problem is if you take a higher line, you end up sliding down into the hole and taking out a window. Normally it's an easy spot to get through, but of the five XJ's I've taken through that spot in the last week, all did some damage. The spot has just eroded a bunch over the winter and spring.

Here's another shot:

Another rig that went through there:

Another angle:

Unfortunately, the damage occurs just in front of the THOR quarter guards a lot of us run in the NW:

If you go any higher it can also get pretty tippy, but as Eli pointed out, there is a bypass if you're afraid of a little bumping and grinding.
