Riding in Robinsville

2 or 3 of us are going to Robinsville to ride for the weekend, it's sorta near Cherokee and on the way to Tellico from eastern NC. I haven't been there, I have heard from friends some of the trails are very difficult (big tires/axles/lockers/body damage, required) If anyone is interested, let me know. Will will be leaving Friday the 18th. Greg

Do you know the name of the trail? If it's got Buffalo in the name, it's better than any trail at Tellico. If you start at the bottom and climb, it's really tough. If it's wet, it's a winchfest. If that's it, keep the location a secret. Not many people know about it. = No crowds = Stays open.

Little Buffalo....I was told it makes lower two look like a mall parking lot..lol..I can't wait. I love going to Tellico , but I've built the MJ to the point where even it's not too much of a challenge unless its wet (last trip we ran lower 2 from start to finish in about 18minutes)...so I'm looking forward to some really difficult stuff..

Ok so what you running? 38's? My new tire size goal! :wierd: Put a set of 33's on it then! LOL! Pictures man pictures!

Yup.. Little Buffalo. Lower 2 probably has spots harder than the LB trail, but the LB trail is the most consistently difficult and long trail I have ever been on. Not to mention, if you have any trouble at all... it takes all day.

The quickest trip there got us out just before dark in the summer time... and we started at 9:00 Am.
