it seems like everyone has either a full load of red or green rep jewels, hardly anyone with just a little either way. and it seems that there are far more people with full green than full red...

rep inflation?

I assume there are an unlimited number of points being given out? I think it would be better (if it's possible) to make it so that if you averaged everyone's rep it would equal zero.

or is this another database error? Regular user cannot post multiple reps in the same minute (that I know of). And with stuff like that you're surprised I was suspicious that my rep gained negative 10K points with no new rep added? I don't care about the points as much as I care about the fact that there is a poker game going on and some of the cards are marked.

He doesn't have to. The date is right there. One is from November (big hardrives are a mix blessing: sometimes things are hard to find, but sometimes there is something that is on there that might come in useful one day) and one is from last month.
So now there is the little tiny question of how........... a regular user can't do that, can he?
