old_man NAXJA Forum User Location Loveland, Colorado Aug 15, 2005 #4 600-700 is normal. A high idle is normally caused by a vacuum leak. Most common point is the hardline running by the battery and going to the canister mounted behind the bumper. Right by the battery it tends to fail.
