Needs your helps people. Does anyone have any method of removing a small coffee stain from a university diploma? its near the writing. The paper is kind of a sandy color. Its a coworkers daughters and she doesnt know yet. Please help!!!! Thanks

Aren't diplomas hung on the wall, under glass? There's got to be a story to this....

her mom brought them in to photocopy for a job application and forgot them. This morning we had a major coffee spill on the desk and one diploma got splattered slightly. This is the end of her world. Not good

May not be possible on your schedule, but is there any chance you can get a replacement from the school? I'm sure they could print a new one off if they wanted to.

A lot of diplomas are on paper made out of more high end fiber stuff than tree pulp, like linen. you could investigate a spot remover stick for fancy laundry, but that will probably require getting that spot wet. wont be easy or fast. i think you are going to have to just suck it up. she shouldnt have left them, so she needs to take part of the blame. its a desk, coffee gets spilled.

The only solvents I can think of will likely take the ink off the paper as well :(

This is the end of her world. Not good

Really? And I thought it would start with the moon turning to blood and stars falling from the sky......I completely overlooked the massive coffee spillage reference.

I've yet to be required to produce an original of my dipoloma for a job interview. Pretty sure it can be reproduced by the university for a nominal fee, if required.

It went over well, I printed a bunch of ideas off the net, they are going to try, It wasn't as bad as I though. I thought for sure the lil Princess was gonna lose it. It happens so she is flying to the same place as her university next week.

I would consult a professional printer. I had one remove some printing and stuff from a Bible not too long ago. They did a fantastic job and no damage at all to the paper or surrounding text.

Contact a photo/document restorer, get it done right.
