Redbird SRA Trail clean up and maintance Nov 15th

.

Is anyone planning camping at Greene Sullivan?

I just talked to the people at GS, and camping is available year round, but the water has been shut off. Any water needs will have to be taken care of by yourself or in town. The rate has been reduced to $5/night to compensate.

I'm not camping, have to be home that night.

You and your megacab limo with its new shaft need to make this. I'm thinking a friday night out in btown would be a good thing to do. plus the last time you came down the students where out of town.

MMMM....... college chicks. IU is chock full of 'em too :D

I'll plan on camping at Greene Sullivan. This is a great time of year for that. I'll also bring shovels and an ax ... my hands still fit those tools even though I don't need to use them as often as years past.

Lunch on the trail would be fine. Byron mentioned grilling some meat at the Redbird's storage building. That way we could get out of the weather if it was raining or butt azz cold.
I was hoping to have some deer to grill. If I don't kill one this weekend, we're SOL on deer meat.

Makes no difference to me, just as long as I get to eat. :D

I hope the weather is that nice.

Who is planning on wheeling? Maybe post-clean-up if there is time? Or a little Sunday wheeling? I figure I'll bring mine.

Byron can clarify but, It was my understanding that we're free to wheel after we're done doing what ever it is we do. I assumed that we'd start cleanup at 9:30. Take a late lunch, maybe 1-1:30 and then wheel till close. No set times, just estimates.

Any input Byron?

Yep. Once cleanup is done, we will be free to wheel until closing time. I can't promise anything, but I may be able to stay a little while longer than 5 so you guys can wheel if you want and I'll lock up once everyone is done.
