Rear hatch rattle problem solved

I don't know if anyone else had this problem with the rear hatch. I took vacuum hose cut it into 4-6 inch lengths then slid them into the vent holes in the seal. I used like 8 pieces. I opened the holes a little bit with a box cutter then used some armer all to lube them up. Now there isn't any creeking or rattling. I used like half inch hose I think. It fit perfect in my 1990.

my hatch was rattling because the rivets holding the latch in on the bottom were all torn up, due to the body flexing and twisting the crap out of the hatch. I just took mine off and tossed it :D
